Novena to Saint Joseph Sleeping

FRUIT: Spiritual Growth.

TO THE PATRIARCH SAINT JOSEPH IN DIFFICULTIES
Beloved Saint Joseph, just man. When you were in doubt and difficulty, God manifested himself to you in dreams, revealing his mysterious plans of salvation: you were to be the husband of Mary and the custodian of Jesus, the Son of God.

To you, who knew how to accept God's will with courage and obedience, we entrust to you in prayer our problems, our concerns, the things we do not understand and those that we find difficult to accept.

We also entrust you with our desires, aspirations and hopes, so that the Lord may indicate the right path to do his will, just as he did when he visited you in your dreams.

Teach us the decision and strength that you yourself had, by promptly fulfilling the will of God, and make us always learn to listen to the voice of the Lord and always look upward, without allowing ourselves to be distracted by the difficulties of life.

To you who accompany and guard our path, with full confidence we say: Saint Joseph, you take charge!, Amen.
