7 things that maybe you don't do and should do with your Guardian Angel

1. Greet him when he wakes up

When you wake up, after thanking God for another day of life, and entrusting yourself to the loving care of Mary, greet your Guardian Angel and thank him because he watched over your sleep all night.

2. Entrust your day to Him

Ask Him for help with whatever you are going to face that day.

Get used to praying daily the Prayer to the Guardian Angel proposed by the Catechism of the Catholic Church: “Angel of God, who are my Guardian because divine goodness has entrusted me to you, enlighten me, protect me, defend me and govern me. Amen"

3. Ask for other people

Your Angel knows all the other Guardian Angels. If you have to deal with someone difficult, ask your Angel to ask that person's Angel to help keep them calm and receptive. You can also go directly to the Angels of other people to ask for them, for example, school or work colleagues, motorists, people on the street who you see need help.

4. Ask for the deceased

Your Angel can pray for the souls of your loved ones who are in Purgatory, even visit and comfort them; entrust them to them.

5. Thank him for favors

Your Guardian Angel is constantly doing you favors. Become aware that it is not a coincidence that you found what you had misplaced, that you had not fallen when you stumbled, that you had not gotten lost, and thank him and God for their continued protection and help.

6. Celebrate it

Tuesdays are the day of the week that the Church dedicates to the Angels. And, of course, October 2 is his holiday. Think about how you can celebrate it, what joy you can give it.

7. Entrust him with your rest

At night, after praying to examine your day, thank God for another day of life and ask for forgiveness for your faults and help to overcome them, and also thank Mary for her loving intercession, thank your Angel for his faithfulness and help, and ask him to watch over your dream. You can say that prayer that you may have learned in your childhood: 'My Guardian Angel, sweet company, do not forsake me night or day...'
