Jesus Christ our Lord has granted enormous Graces to the devotees of His Holy Face. Rooted in the life of the Church, mystics such as Saint Gertrude and Saint Mectildis already knew and spread such a pious way of sanctification. The Venerable Sister Mar\u00eda de San Pedro obtained, by the force of the visions and revelations that the Redeemer gave her, that SS Pius XII, moved by the Celestial mercy, established the universal feast of the Holy Face on the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The golden way to grow quickly in the love of God was the favorite devotion and the one that Saint Therese of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face promoted with the greatest charity. For the Saint of Lisieux, the enormous graces granted through this devotion are nothing other than the fulfillment of the promises given by Our Lord to Saint Gertrude and Saint Mectildis in the past.<\/p>\n

Our Lord said to the venerable Sister Mar\u00eda de San Pedro. OCD, Carmelite as the Saint of the little souls: \u201cWhoever looks at My Face is already comforting Me\u201d<\/p>\n

Among the Promises that were given by the Sweet Redeemer to such great saints and to the Carmelite of Tours, are:<\/p>\n

1. I will grant you such perfect contrition that your sins will be changed in My sight into jewels of precious gold. According to the care you take to repair My Face disfigured by blasphemers, I will have the same care for yours that has been disfigured by sin, transforming it as beautiful as if it had just emerged from the waters of Baptism.<\/p>\n

2. None of those people will ever be separated from Me.<\/p>\n

3. By offering My Face to My Father, you will appease His anger and buy forgiveness for sinners with heavenly currency. Because of this offering, nothing will be denied to you.<\/p>\n

4. I will plead before My Father to grant all the requests that are presented to Me. Through My Holy Face they will do wonders.<\/p>\n

5. I will illuminate you with My Light. I will consume you with My Love and make you fruitful of good works.<\/p>\n

6. They will cry, like the pious Veronica, for My adorable Face outraged by sin, and I will imprint My Divine Features on their souls.<\/p>\n

7. By resembling My Face, you will shine more than others in Eternal Life and the brightness of My Face will fill you with joy.<\/p>\n

8. All those who defend this cause of reparation, by words, by prayers or in writing, will also receive defense in their causes before God the Father at the hour of death. I will wipe the face of their souls, cleansing the stains of sin and returning them to their primitive beauty.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
