Literal, which brings together some experiences of priests, mystical saints and saints about purgatory, through the centuries. The authors, Giulio Giacomettí and Piero Sessa, in their book Thirst for the Living God, make a compilation of visions, apparitions, dreams or other signs of the presence of the deceased, based on the writings Jacques Le Goff(the birth of purgatory, 1981), Carlos Gregorio Rosignoli (wonders of God in the souls of purgatory, 1703), Luis Eugene Louvet (the dogma of purgatory, 1888). The book only brings together the testimonies corresponding to the Middle Ages and the 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, and 17th centuries until the beginning of the 18th century and some brief more recent examples.
