After the immense success of dissemination of the first printing in Spanish of this current edition of the Daily Pilgrimage to Purgatory of Saint Margaret Mary of Alacoque, the hundreds of testimonials and comments from our dear readers about the effectiveness of this
-brief but rich- prayer booklet to support the Blessed Souls in Purgatory, have encouraged us to make a reissue of the work, which I present with great pleasure -to the greater glory of God and peace of the blessed souls in its second edition .

With great amazement and satisfaction, we discovered the fact that our father Blessed Alberione, Founder of the Society of Saint Paul and the other Institutes of the Pauline Family, spread the devotion of the "Piccolo twist" either«Daily turn in purgatory uniti to the Sacred
“Cuore di Gesù” including it in his 1932 book «Per i nostri cari defunti» (G. Alberione, San Paolo, Alba). This text is the Italian version of our Daily Pilgrimage to Purgatory!
If Father Alberione - the saint and prophet of communication in the 20th century - prayed so many times the Daily Pilgrimage to Purgatory and proposes it to us as an exercise of true devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus in favor of the blessed Souls, we are certain that this is an effective prayer, which has the endorsement of the Pauline Charisma and Spirituality.

Therefore, for this reprint we wanted to improve the finishes of the cover and partially restructure the outline of the work originally presented. The daily exercises that have been suppressed or abbreviated have been placed separately in an appendix, for those who want to extend their 'visit' to Purgatory to console the blessed souls and sensitize us with the memory that one day, we too, will die. I entrust to the good Mother of God, under the invocation of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, the spiritual fruits of all who pray with this short, simple and pious exercise of devotion for the repose of our dearly departed.
