“The key to the Tabernacle. Entering into the heart of Christ”

The Tabernacle constitutes for the Christian the true treasure chest, the Holy Eucharist, Christ himself. The key to the Tabernacle, therefore, has two very significant purposes: it allows us to open it and have access to it and, likewise, it allows us to guard it. Yes, on the one hand, this image helps us remember the need for intimacy with Christ, for that personal knowledge typical of friends, brothers, spouses; On the other hand, it reminds us of the need to guard Love, because otherwise it fades, since even the strongest ties can be broken. In the key, we will see a sign of access and custody, two necessary acts for our interior life: entering into His heart and guarding our personal love for Christ.
