The Blessed Virgin Mary has had a fundamental role in the history of the salvation of the human race, and as Christians we have not always given her the place she deserves, rather a cloud of forgetfulness and indifference has fallen over Marian devotion that must be set aside. That is why today with the Hour of Mary is a means for many Christians to revive that consoling devotion that brings so many graces to those who practice it. The prayer of the Holy Rosary with its innumerable blessings must be practiced again in homes because “the family of one who prays together remains united.” It is a weapon to confront family disunity, to warm lukewarm hearts, to stop wars, to prevent the continued promulgation of laws contrary to God's plan, to make virtue grow in the soul of those who are prisoners of sin.
