Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

This little work was one of the first published immediately after the Lord had revealed himself to Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque, a Salesian nun from Paray le Monial, when he wanted this devotion to spread throughout the world. The saint, by express command of Jesus Christ, used for such a high objective the VP Claudio de la Colombiére, of the Society of Jesus, and with the writings of said father and those of Saint Margaret, Father Juan Croiset composed it, and Another Jesuit, Father Pedro de Peñalosa, treated it from French to Spanish with some due year, and with due approval and license it was published in the year 1734.

It is enough to know that Father Juan Croiset was the author of it, and the sources from which he drank everything he wrote in it, to be read with attention and avidity.
