Life of Don Bosco: The saint of young people

Why a special edition of DON BOSCO's biography for children?

To put in your hands, instead of the helpful collection of episodes, a true life of Don Bosco, a charming life, full of adventures, but decorous, serious and harmonious, without that cultural clothing that surpasses the interest of young people.

Two paths were presented to the new youth edition:
– rewrite the entire biography, but more condensed and abbreviated;
– highlight the most interesting years for youth, summarizing as much as possible the periods furthest from their sensitivity.

This second path seemed more appropriate to us. That is why we present in their entirety the two most attractive periods of the saint's life: his childhood-adolescence and the history of the Oratory until 1856. However, his seminary years and the history of the Congregation after 1856 appear very summarized.

Furthermore, we have allowed ourselves to expand on Don Bosco's trip to Barcelona and the missionary expedition to Argentina, given that this edition is intended for Spanish-speaking boys.
