It is Saint Joseph who speaks, the intimacy of his home, his life of work and prayer, his sorrows and joys, always luminous.

We have written this book with twelve hands: six friends, priests and lay people. We have studied and prayed a lot, exchanged abundant and valuable clues until we got to the point of putting ourselves in the shoes of Saint Joseph and having the audacity to narrate his story in the first person: it is he who speaks!

He shows us the intimacy of his home: his life of work and prayer, with his sorrows and joys, always bright, for remaining constantly “close” to Jesus and Mary. And he shows us the greatness of ordinary tasks, which are never irreversible, since they ensure, as he himself tells us, a successful and happy life here and afterwards, forever.
