Oh joyful Light of the holy glory of the heavenly Father, immortal, holy and happy Jesus Christ!
As the sun sets, contemplating the afternoon light, we sing to the Father and the Son and the Spirit of God.
You are worthy of always being praised by holy voices. Son of God, you give us life, the universe proclaims your glory.
Opening prayer for every day
Eternal Father, grant us the grace to receive the Holy Spirit who transfigures our life, our actions, our thoughts in Jesus, Way, Truth and Life; May our body be illuminated by the Presence of the Holy Trinity.
IN THE FIRST DECADE WE CONTEMPLATE THE VOICE OF THE FATHER
A voice was heard saying from the cloud: "This is my very dear Son, in whom I have my preference: listen to him." Lk 9,35

Lord, you who nourish us with the deliciousness of your house and give us to drink from the torrent of your delights, make young people and children know how to contemplate our future glorious condition in the glory of your transfigured Son.

Our God, who in the glorious Transfiguration of your only begotten Son strengthened our faith with the testimony of Moses and Elijah and gave us a glimpse of the glory that awaits us as your children, grant us to follow the Gospel of Christ to share with Him the inheritance of your Kingdom . Through our Lord Jesus Christ.
